Bowling
Aunt Lisa took us girls bowling after school today [the last day of February, but I'm out of room on that page :-)] Kara & Kailey had lots of fun!
Kara & Kailey knock down some pins, then...cheese!
Aunt Lisa helps Kailey with the ball.
Kailey is all smiles after "MY TURN."
Kara aims for the metal bumper. Aunt Lisa and Kailey smile, then get on with the game.
We went out to eat for Aunt Lisa's 24th birthday.
Kailey, Granddaddy, Kara, and Nana decide what to order at Smoky Bones.
Daddy & a slightly grumpy Kailey get settled.
Poor Aunt Lisa must cut her own cake & pour her own milk. Kara & Kailey enjoy cake & ice cream.
Isn't that a face that can get away with anything?! She melts my heart!!
Kailey & Kara compete in the "most adorable" contest. There is a tie for first place.
Hilarity ensues when "horhee" comes out to play. Those silly girls!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Kara celebrated with a dress-down day at school. The silly girl also won a "fight" with her friend Hunter. They turned the sandbox into a wrestling "ring" during recess. Kara said the entire first grade was watching and saying, "fight, fight" and "go, Kara!" In the end, my girl won by getting Hunter out of the sandbox. That's Kara!
We got our church directory pictures taken today (the 17th). We ended up getting a pretty good deal on the proofs...all 12 3x5 proofs for $25. I like the first picture, which will go in the directory. Kara & Kailey are cute in the second one, and Raymond & I look pretty good oursevles. All in all it was a good day.
The girls went with Daddy for a bike ride while Mommy wrote a very long research paper. Happy outside girls!
