Kailey had her 18 month appointment on March 1. She is such a growing girl! She let the doctor listen to her heart, and take all the measurements, and Kailey didn't cry! It was so sad, though, when she was laying there so peacefully until she got her three shots--the poor thing wasn't expecting that. She would calm down until she remembered the shots, then she'd start crying again. It broke my heart. But the plastic football prize distracted her...she loves balls. She weighs 22 lbs 7 oz, and measures 31.5". Where has my baby gone?

The girls had a dental appointment on March 2. Kara was so brave! She let the nice lady "tickle" her teeth with cookie-dough flavored toothpaste, and she had bubble-gum "bubbles" brushed on her teeth. She even let Dr. Randy count her teeth. No cavities!!!

Kailey didn't want anyone messing with her teeth, however. She did like the free toothbrush, but she wanted to brush her own teeth. The dentist said her teeth look great, and to stay away from the juice (like we've been doing.) Kailey has her next checkup in one year!

Mommy & Daddy both got new jobs this month. Mommy will be a medical records clerk, and Daddy will have his dream job at a TV station, as Morning News Editor. We both got our jobs on the same day, March 7, 2005, which was the ten year anniversary of our first date. We start Monday, March 14, 2005. We found a wonderful day care center for Kailey, and hope her transition goes well. We'll see!

We had our last "national family day" on Wednesday, March 9. We went out to lunch & then to the park before Daddy had to go to work. Here are some pictures. Click on a picture to go to the page with our whole trip to the park!
