On August 12, 2003, an angel came into our lives. After a scheduled induction, Kailey was born at 2:36 p.m, with brown hair & blue eyes. She is the second light of our lives. God blessed us with two beautiful, healthy girls.
6 am 8/12/03...on my way to the hospital. One last belly shot!

The contractions are picking up a little, so I try the rocking chair to let gravity help move Kailey down.
OK...this is starting to hurt!
A few hours later...
Kailey is born! Unfortunately, mommy received one dose of IV narcotic medication one hour before Kailey's birth, which was still in Kailey's system when she was born. Her first picture is taken while the nurses give her oxygen. Very scary! (& a very guilty mommy.)
All better! Kailey had a few shots to get the drugs out of her system, and she is now breathing well on her own. Daddy gets to visit with Kailey, and soon Mommy holds her.
