It was a cool, overcast day, but we took advantage of the opportunity to walk on the new Arthur Ravenel Bridge. What a sight!

Mommy had some schoolwork to do Wednesday, June 29, before we left for the mountains. Aunt Lisa took the kids & Kara, Cody, and Kailey were playing in Kara's room at Nana's house. The phone rang & Aunt Lisa went to answer it. Kailey took the opportunity to jump on the bed, and then she fell off sideways, breaking her arm. We didn't know until the next morning when we were getting ready to leave for the trip. We took Kailey to the doctor, then to urgent care for x-rays. Her arm was indeed broken, what the doctor called a "buckle" fracture. She was in a splint while we were on vacation, then she got a pretty pink cast when we got back. She is using the arm like a pro; the cast hasn't slowed her down one bit. She's my sweet girl!
Kailey's cast came off July 28, 2005. She was scared of the doctor and the technician, but she was a brave little girl! She had new x-rays which revealed new bone growth, so we're all clear.
Kara lost her first tooth July 27, 2005. What a toothy grin!
