We attended the Flowertown Festival the first weekend of April.  Kara loves this annual event.  She had to complete a science project for school, which she titled: "Four Seasons That I Love - by Kara."  Her sentence for spring mentioned that the Flowertown Festival is one of her favorite things about spring.  We had a lot of fun with the kids riding the carousel, the slide, the fun house, and the trampoline.  Raymond tasted some yummy shrimp at the Taste of Summerville.  We bought some yard ornaments (a "meow" and a bird), and I got a dragonfly flag.  We also got four azalea bushes for $5 from Lowes.  What great finds!
Daddy takes Kailey on a ride down the big slide (they are on the far left at the top of the slide).
Speaking of flowers, here are some of the flowers blooming in our yard: geraniums, azaleas, and dogwood tree.

Kailey is tired after all the fun.  Time to hit the road!  We stopped by Ye Ole Fashioned for some ice cream...it was a hot, humid day!
Easter Bunny ~ April 14, 2006
The girls stood in line for almost an hour waiting to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap.  Kailey was a little nervous, but she touched the Easter Bunny's hand and sat down for a quick half-smile.  Happy Easter!
Easter Egg Hunt
The girls had a fun hunt-and-hide session at home the day before easter.  We just got back from the mall with bright smiles and shiny new shoes.
