We attended the Flowertown Festival the first weekend of April. Kara loves this annual event. She had to complete a science project for school, which she titled: "Four Seasons That I Love - by Kara." Her sentence for spring mentioned that the Flowertown Festival is one of her favorite things about spring. We had a lot of fun with the kids riding the carousel, the slide, the fun house, and the trampoline. Raymond tasted some yummy shrimp at the Taste of Summerville. We bought some yard ornaments (a "meow" and a bird), and I got a dragonfly flag. We also got four azalea bushes for $5 from Lowes. What great finds!
Speaking of flowers, here are some of the flowers blooming in our yard: geraniums, azaleas, and dogwood tree.
